Today entry is my 2nd day in Kathmandu, Nepal. After a few trip in the city we will drive 6 hours to Pokhara. At the hotel we stayed, we were provided with vegetarian breakfast set which is Muslim friendly. FREAKING GOD, that was one of heavenly breakfast that i have ever tasted!!!
Egg,potato, cabbage, orange juice, coffee, capati & freakin delicious original Nepal Fruit yogurt

After a spoiled delicious breakfast, we were greet with our tour guide for our next destination which is Boudhanath Stupa.  The stupa's massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal. The Buddhist stupa of Boudhanath dominates the skyline. The ancient Stupa is one of the largest in the world. The influx of large populations of refugees from Tibet has seen the construction of over 50 Tibetan Gompas (Monasteries) around Boudhanath. As of 1979, Boudhanath is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. More info, do check wikipedia >>> Boudhanath Stupa

After an hour or so, we finish our tour at Boudhanath & went to our last destination in Kathmandu city, Pashupatinanth Temple for Hinduism. Which according to our tour guide, in the next few days of our visit, the temple will be visited by The President of India. The temple is the most sacred Hindu shrine and one of the greatest Shiva sites. The temple serves as the seat of the national deity, Lord Pashupatinath. This Hindu temple precinct is on UNESCO World Heritage Sites's list. This "extensive Hindu temple precinct" is a "sprawling collection of temples, ashrams, images and inscriptions raised over the centuries along the banks of the sacred Bagmati river" and is included as one of the seven monument groups in UNESCO's designation of Kathmandu Valley as a cultural heritage site. Taken from Pashupatinath Temple wikipedia.
The cost to enter this temple is RS, 1000 per person.

Goodbye Kathmandu
This is the end of our trip in Kathmandu sightseeing. We finish it around 10 am and drive straight to Pokhara through Nepal mountain road, valley, river and stream. The road trip took 6 hours drive to reach Pokhara. The view of the valley is really a paid-off for the long drive... so beautiful and majestic.

For Malaysian, the road mostly look alike a lot to Cameron Highland highway. Its only two-way lane, we drive through mountain valley and It`s really, worth your time to take this long journey....

Lets re-fill our gas before long drive :)
Let`s go Pokhara!
LUNCH BREAK!!! After 2 hours and a half at last we make a stopped at this Hill Top Restaurant. Lets take a break and make sure finish your business here too :P
We also met an Indian family from Melaka that came here to pray & on their way back to Kathmandu. Such a small world :-)
Enjoy our lunch here!!
We spot L O V E shape cloud!
Their chapatti tastes great & Potato finger fries.
The restaurant is huge, awesome view & i like its exterior.
Annndddd after 3 more hours we finally arrive in Pokhara!!! Yeay :) We change our drivers & cars, since for tourism they only allowed small car in Pokhara. WHY? Let the picture explain...
Our way to Sarangkot Hills.
For tourist spot up a hill, only can be access via small car! Honestly the road is so scarry that i tried to close my eyes everytime we bump with other car but the view is just too breathtaking for me to close my eyes. Just for the view.... i braces myself open my eyes :)
Local bus, flat tire in the middle of road -..-
On top of Sarangkot!!!
Pokhara city! Breathtaking views.
Having a lovely moment with my Queen on top Sarangkot.
Sarangkot hotel room that we suppose to take.
Ok, our itinerary actually is 1n Kathmandu - 1n Sarangkot - 2n Pokhara - 1n Kathmandu. Our pokhara guide advise us not to stay in Sarangkot bcuz he keep saying the hotel didnt fulfill his satisfactory level, so after he success persuade my mum & sis... we decided to spend our night in Pokhara instead of Sarangkot. Thats the end of our day 2 in Nepal. We spend the whole night in room.. eating maggi, nyum nyum nyum.
